Zindagi men do lahza koi mere pass na betha,
Aaj sab mere pas bethe ja rahe the.

Koi Tohfa na mila aaj tak mujhe,
Aur aaj phool hee phool diye ja rahe the.

Taras gaya mn kisi k hath se Diye ek kapde ko,
Aur aaj nae nae kapde Orhaae ja rahe the.

Do Qadam sath na chalne wale,
Aaj Qafla bana kar chale ja rahe the…

Aaj pata chala k Mout itni haseen hoti he,
Aur hum to yunhi Jiye Ja rahe the…
